About the Artists:
NICHOLAS DAVID
You can hear the nurturing root sounds of American R&B, New Orleans Rock 'n' Roll, Country-Driven Gospel and the Soul Music of the Spirit and the Church in Nicholas David (aka "the Feelin). And if you're really listening, you can hear how David is reshaping the music's past for the ever-present day. Welcome to the guy who magically turned the old school into the new school.
A Voice Beyond "The Voice". A Top-Three Finish catapulted David from a regional musician to international success. His recordings routinely charted on Top 10 lists for Billboard and iTunes. David and his Feelin Band toured coast-to-coast, headlining and playing support bills with national acts ranging from the Avett Brothers to Rusted Root to the BoDeans, to name a few.
"REINVENTING AND EVOLVING EACH SONG HE SINGS, DAVID GIVES SONGS DEEPLY INGRAINED IN POP CULTURE SOMETHING NEW AND PASSIONATE WITH EACH PERFORMANCE" - CITY PAGES
MARK JOSEPH
Mark Joseph has established himself as a true musical journeyman. Exploring his capacity to ignite the stage, 2021 finds Joseph gaining momentum and expanding his musical impact while cataloging an impressive list of fruitful collaborations (with members of Little Feat, Thievery Corporation, Moe, Big Red Machine, Trampled by Turtles, and numerous others).
Joseph's 2021 solo release, Vegas Motel, is a highly personal record rooted in the emotion of the year it was written (2020), yet reaching far beyond the confines of the times. Vegas Motel delicately emotes Joseph's real-life experiences and relationships dating back to when he was a young man. Co-producer and drummer JT Bates (Big Red Machine, Hiss Golden Messenger), and Engineer Alex Proctor (Grace Potter, Dead Man Winter) perfectly complement the record's musical tapestry, further solidifying Joseph's talent as a singer/songwriter and collaborator.
“Joseph shows not only his ability to tell a good story but also shows versatility moving easily from one style to the next. He isn’t content to remain in one genre and he excels no matter what style he chooses for a song.” - Americana Highways
